Sonoran HomeWorks was built on decades of hands-on experience, craftsmanship, and a belief that homeowners deserve reliable, honest help — the kind that's getting harder to find these days.
My journey began when I was just a kid. I spent countless hours on job sites shadowing my father, a union electrician who worked on everything from interstate infrastructure to commercial buildings to residential homes. Those early years taught me the basics of tradesmanship, problem solving, and what it means to take pride in your work.
A Lifetime of Building, Fixing, and Helping
In my late teens, I worked in construction — framing, roofing, and completing an electrician's apprenticeship — before joining the Air Force. During nearly 10 years of service, I trained as a computer programmer, supported major technology projects, wired data centers, and learned how systems, people, and infrastructure come together.
After the Air Force, my family and I returned to Arizona, and I built a long career in the technology field. But throughout that time, I never stepped away from building and repairing things with my own hands.
Over the years I have:
- Built and remodeled homes
- Managed the construction of swimming pools and landscaped backyards
- Built a cabin in the mountains of Idaho
- Installed septic systems
- Built custom cabinets and installed flooring
- Installed appliances, assembled furniture, and completed hundreds of household repairs
- Helped family, friends, and neighbors with nearly every type of home project imaginable
These experiences shaped my philosophy: do the job right, communicate clearly, and treat every home like it's your own.
